Officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia, Grange is a multi-regional masterpiece that shows power, concentration and balance to showcase the very best in Australian wine. 1980's Grange is dense and chewy with generously ripe, prune/ chocolate fruit flavours, pronounced grainy tannins and superb length. Had no idea what to expect as bottle was purchased to celebrate an anniversary of a 1980 event. Despite it being a 36 year old Grange, it was very much enjoyed by all. Cork was moist, and perfect. Also, bottle had high shoulder-fill. Superb
