Penfolds Grange is Australia's most important wine. Beginning life as an experiment by the visionary that was Max Schubert, Grange has become a wine icon. Officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia, Grange is a multi-regional masterpiece that shows power, concentration and balance to showcase the very best in Australian wine. 1980's Grange is dense and chewy with generously ripe, prune-chocolate fruit flavours, pronounced grainy tannins and superb length. Bottle in excellent condition with great cellaring potential.

Had no idea what to expect as bottle was purchased to celebrate an anniversary of a 1980 event. Despite it being a 36 year old Grange, it was very much enjoyed by all. Cork was moist, and perfect. Also, bottle had high shoulder-fill. Superb
