Medium brick red. A beautiful wine with intense complex fresh dark chocolate/demi-glace/dried prune/apricot/herb garden aromas and flavours. The palate is well concentrated with lovely fruit richness and fine, lacy, supple tannins. Finishes silky, minerally and long. Rare. 92% shiraz, 8% cabernet sauvignon. Magill Estate (Adelaide), Morphett Vale (Adelaide), Kalimna Vineyard (Barossa Valley) blend. A hot, dry growing season.
