Good perfume pouring through here. Good structure too. Lacks a little oomph but it’s travelling well, and is terrifically well structured. I’m really coming around to this. Very smart wine. Mint, leather, briar, currants, licorice. Sturdy.

The 1992 St. Henry Shiraz is a terrific example of the jammy, late harvest, port-like style that is displayed by some of Australia''s biggest red wines. A viscous, deep-looking, dark ruby/purple color is accompanied by plenty of sweet, blackcurrant and jammy raspberry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, the wine reveals good acidity (no doubt added), well-integrated toasty wood, and a thick, rich, chunky finish.
