First Growth Cabernet Blend 1994

Since the first vintage was released, First Growth has set a benchmark for wine quality in the Coonawarra region. The wine is only produced when the growing season produces exceptional fruit quality, and when a particular vintage is deemed to have ageing potential beyond 15 years. The 1994 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot producing an enticing palate of cassis, mint and leathery notes combined with the elegant oak for a long, rich mouth-feel. With a few years in bottle already the wine has developed good complexity but will easily keep for another couple of years.
