The 2021 St Henri Shiraz is a bright, red-fruited delight with nuances of red currant, raspberry, Christmas spices, and baking notes. This understated yet eternally gracious wine offers a medium-intense nose of salted prunes, plums, and blackberry. Surprisingly approachable for a new release, it delights with flavors of ripe blackberry, vanilla essence, sweet balsamic, and hints of clove, pepper, bay leaf, and star anise. The palate is balanced and restrained, showcasing creamy richness, fine tannins, and a very long finish. Pair this versatile wine with a hearty beef bourguignon for meat lovers or a wild mushroom risotto for vegetarians, both of which will complement its complexity and elegance.

Deep crimson, Intense dark cherry, blackberry, chinotto aromas with roasted walnut espresso notes. Fresh and voluminous with ample dark cherry, blackberry, cassis flavours, fine loose-knit chocolaty textures and underlying roasted walnut espresso notes. Finishes long and sweet with an inky plume. Seamless and expressive wine with the fruit melting beautifully into the structure. A very impressive St Henri that will stand the test of time. One of the standout wines of the 2024 release.
