Pale straw colour. Intense fresh white flowers, lemon, brine nose. A classic linear frame with superb concentration, piercing lemon curd flavours and ravishing acidity. Saline minerals and quartz notes carry through to the finish. The avoidance of malolactic fermentation gives a tightness and purity of expression. Superb.

Fresh, bright Champagne, with moderate autolysis character and creamy and iced-pastry/patisserie aromas. Very pleasant balance for immediate drinking, with no imbalance of acid or sweetness peeping out. Good texture: I imagine this wine is less austere than it used to be.
