Good depth of colour, with a faint residue of purple. The bouquet is about smoked charcuterie and dried herbs, some dried fruits as well including dried berries. The wine is full-bodied and ample, with generous tannins and a firm final grip. A serious pinot with concentration and weight, which pushes ripeness a bit and gets away with it. There's a fruit-sweet core and it's a generous wine from every angle. Great value.

Raspberry, leaf litter, gentle scent of just baked cinnamon buns. Light to medium bodied, has a sense of ‘mineral’, with very tight knit fine tannin, clean acidity and a lightly earthy, but pretty red fruited finish of excellent length. This is a goer.
