Peter and Mark Saturno put on a four course tapas spread in the middle of their idyllic vineyard at Macclesfield every Sunday afternoon. Check it out next time you’re in the Hills, and spend a lazy afternoon glugging Red Bucket. This well made, medium-bodied blend is an appealing bistro style, capturing lively berry fruits, rhubarb and tangy acidity.

Two-thirds shiraz, one-third cabernet, all out of the Adelaide Hills. It''s dark and brooding fruits in the glass, while the faintest of oak background gives a bit of class to this excellent blend. The Bucket is quite solid through the palate, though extremely negotiable with seamless flavours and finely built mouth feel. Very smart wine at this level.
