Vintage 2012
90 points Halliday Wine Companion
Matured for 16 months in new and used French and American oak; an attractive, savoury, medium-bodied McLaren Vale shiraz; its good colour signals the vintage and the winemaking, together investing the wine with a generous display of blood plum, blackberry and bitter chocolate supported by earthy tannins.

Vintage 2019
91 points The Real Review
Dense, concentrated purple/red colour, the bouquet is powerful and richly concentrated, very ripe but not overripe, with dark plum, herbs and crushed black pepper to sniff, the palate intense and bright, lively and vigorous. There's a lot packed into this wine and if anything it just needs a bit more time to soften and mellow. Coffee-mocha nuances, essency and potent.
