1998 is regarded as one of the great vintages in South Australia. The popular Bin 28 is a savoury supple and juicy wine full of ripe fruit flavours and subtle spice. Drinking well now but will still improve.

Had a bottle of the 1998 tonight with a roast lamb dinner. I'd say it's just at its peak. Heavy, classical BIN 28. Still heavy with tannins. What a great year this is. Wish I had another dozen!
