Medium pale colour. Intense grapefruit tonic water aromas with grilled nut, yeasty complexity. Sweet grapefruit tonic water flavours, fine clear cutting acidity, attractive mid palate creaminess and underlying new oak. Finishes al-dente chalky and tangy.

Comely perfume that shows creamy, warm almond character over fresh stone fruit, a touch of citrus, golden delicious apple. Lots to like in scent here and a good set up for the supple chardonnay flavours and understated spicy oak that follows. Light creaminess to texture, soft, pillowy yet very fresh. Subtle in a way, elegant, draws you back to the glass. The word ‘lovely’ comes to mind readily.
