Deep, bold red/purple colour. Intense and fresh, brilliant spicy aromas, the palate intense and bright again, medium-weight, fresh and lively, with very good depth of shiraz flavour, the tannins mild but adding the requisite firmness to the back-palate and finish.

This is firmly in the riper spectrum, yet composed. It's silky and textured, full of dark plums, wood char, licorice and dried herbs. The full-bodied palate is fleshy and satisfying, with expansive tannins. Drinking well right now.
