Deep, youthful and bright red/purple colours, the bouquet is reserved but clean and appealing in its raspberry and briary nuances. Oak is there but well harmonised. It's full-bodied and firm in the mouth, with upright structure and abundant tannin grip. There is good depth of sweetly ripe berry flavour encased in a firm structure of tannin that will see it age and develop for many years.
