MajellaThe Malleea Cabernet Shiraz
About this product
The Malleea (an aboriginal word for 'green paddock') is a very fine example of the classic Australian Cabernet-Shiraz blend. Rich, dark magenta in colour, with ripe plums, spice and vanillin oak on the nose. The palate is like a complex fruit cake with layers of fresh berries, black olives and hints of chocolate.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Vintage 2015
91 points The Real Review
Deep, bright purple/red colour, fresh for its age, and the bouquet is likewise, with bright mulberry and cedar notes, while the palate has exaggerated acidity which jangles on the finish and aftertaste. It tastes over-adjusted, and will need to be accompanied by food. Track record shows that these wines do reward cellaring.
