Light bodied red wines have a water-light mouthfeel and light flavour impact. Often pale to light/medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Light but bright red colour with a tinge of purple, the bouquet fragrant cherry, smoky spices and earth. Red cherry rather than black. The wine is light-bodied, fresh and spritely, and easy drinking. Moderate length. It seems made for current consumption, the tannins almost feather-light. It would be ideal with lighter meats, poultry or barbecued prawns. Delicious wine and well priced. (First bottle was spoilt by cork taint)
