Vintage 2020

Average vine age 20 years. Barrel fermented and matured in 500L barrels (20% new), no mlf. A bright green gold. Aromas of freshly picked white peach, green mangoes, some star anise and discreetly handled wood that is already well integrated. This has real drive on the palate, with flavours of nectarine and grapefruit pith. Finishes chalky and long. An excellent expression of Yarra chardonnay that will reward at least another 5 years, if not more, in the cellar.

Vintage 2020

Reserved melon and herb aromas, quartzy minerality, nectarine and lemon, clean and fresh and bright, and no sulfides; oak very subtle and harmonious. Taut and intense in the mouth, with straightforward but deep flavour, which will no doubt build more complexity in time. This is reserved and really bound up with potential. A great one to cellar for a few years.
