Here's a wine that grabbed our attention immediately. It's spot on for balance, medium bodied, and packed full of flavour. The blend of those two great Spanish varieties, tempranillo and graciano, works perfectly. The winemaker has wisely left the oak well in the background.
Its savoury, ripe plum, cola and dark fruit flavours are fresh and vital. More than anything, and this is not faint praise, it's very interesting to drink and will work very well with grilled meat. James Halliday

A Spanish varietal blend highlighting each grape's personality nicely; the dark cherry, black fruits and dried herbs of the tempranillo grape and the firm acid structure, licorice and musk spice of graciano. This is no sweet-hearted red, despite the plummy aromas, but rather a taut, well-built red with grainy tannins, that could go the distance.
