Floral scented, sweetly fruited, lightly spiced and well priced. You want moreFloral scented, sweetly fruited, lightly spiced and well priced. You want more? Expect a dash of pepper and cinnamon with charry oak in the mix too, but balanced. There’s a whiff of prosciutto so it does have appealing savoury tones to tame the intense fruit. Full bodied, plush tannins and a slightly bitter finish. Expect a dash of pepper and cinnamon with charry oak in the mix too, but balanced. It’s a good drink, that’s what it is. It seems uncomplicated at first but as it breathes it reveals more. Black cherries, sweet spices, eucalypt, violets and a graphite-like note. It swings juicily through the palate before gathering in a well-ordered way through the finish. Not a hair is out of place; it’s a good wine, a good drink and good value.
