Leeuwin Estate have always, pretty much, marched to the beat of their own drum when it comes to Cabernet.
Aromatic wine loaded with roses, peppermint, redcurrant, tobacco and gum leaf, backed with dusty cedar oak. It’s medium bodied, sure footed and fine boned, with well rounded gently liquorous red fruit, mild coffee oak and fine grained tannin. Certainly has length and shows a clean pair of heels on the finish. Shapely. Energetic. I suspect it will look great as an older wine. - More about the Dan Murphy's Wine Panel

Campbell Mattinson (2014) - "I suspect it will look great as an older wine." Fast forward to Jan. 2022. The colour is terrific for a 13 year old wine, still showing some youthful glints. Classic Margaret River bay leaf, smoky bacon, chocolate, perfectly ripened sweet blue and red fruit, juniper, very gentle French oak integration. Supremely elegant. A Margaret River classic. Age has done wonders for this wine, and will continue to do so for years to come.
