Destemmed, open-fermented with cultured yeast, 7 days on skins, matured in French oak (50% new) for 18 months. A no-holds-barred wine tasted shortly after bottling, circumstances in which new French oak will always be very obvious. It's a classy shiraz with intense berry fruits and tannins, which even now provide balance. Needs time.
