Pale straw-green; an ultimate exercise in finesse and delicacy; everything is in balance, and the future of the wine is assured; the only question is whether there is enough substance to the fruit to take it to the highest level.

Lightish yellow hue, restrained for its age, and a very fresh, youthful and fruit-driven aroma. Honeydew melon, straw and cashew. Light-bodied but intense and searing, with lively acidity. Bracing acidity in fact. It cries out for food, such as plump oysters. Very fine and taut, and should age very well. Will be even better next year.
