PetalumaCoonawarra 2013
About this product
A typically elegant regional style from Petaluma. Claret-like in structure, with enhancements of shiraz spice and regional mintiness, the wine is medium to full-bodied with layers of complexity. Black currants, dark cherries, choc/mocha, light grained tannins, earth, spice and a savoury dried herb powder edge are all flavours that resolve perfectly into a graceful and persistent experience. A meaty dimension has been added during its 6 years in our cellar, making it ideal with roast red meat. The wine is a delight to drink now and will hold well for at least 3 years.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
