Wonderfully fruited and enticing, the bouquet shows blackberry, Black Doris plum, violet and hazelnut characters with touches of pepper spice and cocoa. The palate delivers succulent fruit intensity together with fleshy mouthfeel, wonderfully complemented by excellent fruit purity and spicy complexity, finishing persistent and silky.

Grenache and grenache blends are charging back into favour in homes and at backyard barbecues around Australia. No wonder, with examples such as this. There's generous, black fruited, spicy Barossa shiraz and juicy, lifted Eden Valley shiraz, complemented admirably by red berried, fragrant grenache to create a wine that is balanced and unsparingly flavour filled.
