About this product

Sepp. No 5 is produced by the sixth-generation Tristan Seppelt of the famous Seppelt family who started making wine back in 1851. Based at Grand Cru Estate, an 1889 homestead in the south-east corner of the Barossa that is a mixture of farm, cellar door and luxury accommodation, the family makes a variety of wines from Barossa Valley, Eden Valley and Adelaide Hills fruit. This wine has Eden Valley Shiraz for lifted fruit as well as rock-solid Barossa Valley floor Shiraz to add power, with the red berry fruit of Grenache softening the palate. Plenty of blackberries and plum, some cherries and well-integrated oak. The finish is smooth and textured.
