Restrained rocky, earthy mineral and straw aromas, with background lime and lemon fruit notes. It's light and restrained, delicate and refined in texture. Quite a haunting fragrance and flavour, with a good line of fine acidity that runs the entire length of the palate. Lean and nervy. The acid is quite brisk and almost strident, and it begs to be served with food.

At this early stage though this wine doesn’t seem to be reaching any great heights. It’s confident and competent rather than scintillating. Lime, bath salts, slate, kaffir lime. Good reach through the finish without being anything outstanding. Clear, powerful lime rind notes. Some spritz. May still be finding its feet.
