La Cuvee des JeanFamille Sambardier La Cuvee Des Jean Gamay
About this product
The Sambardier family have been making gamay based wine for 5 generations. The grapes for this delightful red were handpicked from 50 year old gamay vines. The wine produced displays nice ruby colour and subtle small red fruit aromas. Full flavoured, tangy, and with a nice attack on the palate. An elegant wine which leaves long lasting aromas. This wine can easily be kept up to 4 or 5 years, it will then reveal “pinot style” aromas.

A lively and refreshing gamay from the Sambardier family produced from 50-year-old vines. The wine displays good vinosity, unlike some at this price point. You’ll enjoy the vibrant red fruit, light touch, and the slight tang that makes gamay so attractively quaffable. Very well priced if you are on the lookout for light reds.
