Pretty red and black fruit, light vanilla, subtle earthiness – so bright and attractive. Medium bodied, almost a violet mouth perfume, balanced acidity, firm mouth-coating tannin – but fine and ‘to the tooth’ – then plush and juicy red and black fruits come through and close up with a finish of convincing length. Love that it manages to be fruity, but not at all sweet. Supreme balance – feels effortless. Classic McLaren Vale Shiraz.
