Lifted aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, and subtle choc-mint characters are given added complexity with notes of spice and cigar box from the oak. A rich full bodied wine, beautifully balanced across the palate with fine, elegant tannins. Intense flavours of blackcurrant and cassis work well with the subtle savoury French oak characteristics of cedar and spice.

Good colour; a complex regional blend, with many things happening, but the powdery/dusty/dry tannins on the finish need to back off and let the fruit have its say.
