Full amber-tawny colour, with a yellow rim showing age. Old leather lounge suite and burnished wood, timber panelling aromas, while the palate is sweet in the middle then cleansing and drying on the finish, with a lot of alcohol, plus some oak and a trace of tannin. It's got genuine wood-aged depth and character. Very good, and I especially like the clean, drying finish.
