Rich blackberry and spice aromas, fresh and bright and nice degree of ripeness, peppered with some fresh and perfumed oak. Elegant, medium to full-body and smooth tannins. Very good wine and great value.

Deep purple-crimson; the choice of new and used French and American oak is presumably driven by 'not broken, don't fix' thinking, and the acceptance of the style by loyal followers of the brand. It's actually a very good cabernet, despite the American oak, with crystal-clear blackcurrant fruit and fine tannins.
