Château Belair-MonangeSaint-Émilion 2010
About this product
The wine that was formerly known as Chateau Belair, now has 'Monange' attached to its name and further detail in engraving on its estate bottles. Located by the famed Chateau Ausone, Ch?teau Belair-Monange sees a more full-flavoured, dense wines from 2010, stepping out of its comfort zone somewhat, but offering a brilliant experience nonetheless. This is a long-living wine forged from quality winemaking and attention to detail in vineyard, with fruit sourced from a mere 12.5 hectares of land under vine, dominated by Merlot growing. An exciting release.

An absolutely magnificent wine from Christian Moueix and his son Edouard, this wine is right up there with their 2009 and may eclipse it in terms of its potential longevity. Dense purple, with a near-liqueur of crushed rocks and chalk intermixed with blue.
