Alter Ego de PalmerMargaux 2010
About this product
No second guessing for where this wine comes from, the second wine of the famed Chateau Palmer has set a high bar for sibling wines from grand estates. The team from Palmer led by Thomas Duroux has continued the low yields expected from their impeccable vineyards, channeling a wine to bottle that speaks with eloquence of the vineyards, but also a potent concentration whipped fresh with chewy tannin. The first vinatge for this wine was 1998, but the 2010 should prove to be one of the best releases so far of this wine.

Vintage 2010

An equal-part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2010 Alter Ego represents 50% of the crop at Palmer. It has been an interesting second wine to take note of ever since the first vintage in 1998. The 2010 displays loads of chocolaty espresso notes
