Dark garnet in colour with ripe black jammy fruits, dry spices and wet leaves on the nose. A mouth-filling tannins and great fruit and acidity balance on the palate. A rather savoury and lingering finish.

Well looky here! A Wendouree that’s almost a pop and pour. Such is the vintage. Cherry jam, Black Forest cake, pepper and spice, some soft of damp forest floor character too – but largely it’s vibrant, pretty and perfumed. Medium bodied, easy drinking, fresh and juicy, plenty of spice, build on acidity rather than its light grainy tannin. Tasty length. What a charmer. Very good wine. Something different from Wendouree, but no let down.
