Turkey FlatShiraz 2007
About this product
Turkey Flat Shiraz is produced from fruit that is grown in possibly the oldest Shiraz vineyard in the world! While Peter Schulz's Shiraz is always one of bold concentration and power, with a bit of bottle age just like this 2007, the Turkey Flat starts to mellow out magnificently and start to show those wonderful secondary characters of cedar, briar and all-spice. Scoring an impressive 95 points from James Halliday, this is a matured Turkey Flat for the ages.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Bright colour; pure Barossa fruit, with blackberry, redcurrant and fruitcake on the bouquet; the abundant sweet fruit is offset by a savoury, tarry complexity that drives the palate to its ultimately long and tannin-textured finish.
