Very deep, dark, dense purple/red, very youthful hues. Preserved plum, prune juice aromas, and mocha from oak contact. A very ripe, warm shiraz style. The palate is dense, packed and grippy. Very full-bodied and tannic with a rustic texture and a touch of roughness. Blood plum and black olive hints. The tannins are quite aggressive at this juncture. It needs time and will reward patience.

Impenetrable colour, purple hue; this subregional Barossa shiraz exhibits a dark and brooding personality, complex and full of intrigue, with black fruits, ironstone, oak derived spices and a floral lift; the palate is tightly wound, impressively proportioned and, whilst dark and dense, shows plenty of detail and excellent balance. Made for the long haul.
