About this product

One could consider Penfolds RWT as the antithesis of what Penfolds is traditionally known for Typically, Penfolds draws on its vast holdings of premium vineyards across South Australia, but RWT is sourced exclusively from a single region the Barossa Valley and is matured in French oak, in contrast to the American oak favored for other Luxury Release wines. First vintaged in 1997 after several years of Red Winemaking Trials, RWT is something of a newcomer, yet it brings valuable diversity to the Penfolds stable of iconic red wines.
