Believing that these artisan growers truly epitomise the character of the region while capturing the natural essence of the vineyard. Peter Lehmann winemaker, Ian Hongell and his wife Daniela have harnessed their 'backyard vineyard' for their first single vineyard wine, showcasing the sites unique terroir. The Stone Well district is abundant in ancient weathered red brown rock producing low yielding vines and rich red wines of great intensity and structure. With the addition of well tendered French oak which the wine rested in for 15 months post fermentation, this single vineyard beauty will drink well today, yet will reward careful cellaring for up to 10 years.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
