A distinguished Coonawarra cabernet with considerable cassis/blackcurrant and mulberry fruit, and also fine-grained, built-in tannins that are not so commonly encountered, neither blocky nor disassociated. Perfect length, great balance.

Shy nose with traces of mint, dried herb and savoury notes. Savoury, dry and appetising on the palate, with stacks of sweet fruit, and the tannins are very ripe and soft. The acidity is mouth-watering and a little prominent. A very smart cabernet. (100% new oak)
