Light yellow colour. Soft, toasty and slightly developed bouquet, with some yeastiness and this tends to dominate the varietal fruit at this stage. Pleasant flavour, but a trifle simple and almost a touch flat on the palate. It has a strange lack of energy coupled with a sourness of acidity.
