Palish colour, quite backward for a 2012, with a little dissolved gas. Very fresh, tight, mineral and green lime aromas, a hint of cool-grown grassiness. The flavour is similarly taut and compact, reserved and youthful, with energising acidity and a dry finish. Tangy, refined, firm and long. Excellent, and has a long future ahead of it.

Pale colour; the bouquet displays lemon zest, bath talc and a suggestion of fennel; the palate is generous, juicy and approachable for young riesling, yet displays a dry backbone of chalky acidity to conclude, which will stand the test of some time.
