Vintage 2009
88 points The Real Review
Medium to deep red colour, purple tints. Earthy and oaky bouquet, savoury and mellowing, not very varietal. Rather taut, lean, tannic and firm without a lot of fruit or charm. Grippy aftertaste: needs protein. Somewhat unbalanced. No doubt this would be much better - indeed attractive - with food.
