Deep purple/red, excellent hue and depth of colour. Fresh, bright, youthful blueberry to raspberry and blackcurrant fruit aromas, a nice touch of cedary/olivey oak tucked in the background. Dense and tight in structure, with some appealing fruit sweetness and a clean, savoury finish that rolls on and on. A very good wine that will ascend with cellaring.

Bright colour; if structure is anything to go by, then this is a serious cabernet blend for the price; young, unevolved and a little hard edged at this early stage, the tightly wound core of black fruits, black olive and cedar is hard to dismiss; protein is essential for enjoyment, and ageing is going to prove fruitful.
