Grapes sourced from Balnarring, Tuerong Merricks vineyards. Fermented with 10% whole bunches, in concrete, 22 days on skins, aged ten months in both concrete & foudre (5% new). Bottled unfined & unfiltered. Dark cherry, violets poached plum on the nose, with hints of campari sweet baking spice. The fruit on the nose reflects on the palate accompanied by dense, vibrant balanced acidity, fine textured tannins, balance subtle spice on the finish.

Don’t overthink this. It’s a delicious, well-made and pleasing pinot. Nothing out of place, with a neat combo of florals, red cherries, baking spices galore and some woodsy notes, too. And it's a little autumnal. Some amaro/Angostura bitters pop out, adding a touch of exotica. A neat layer of textural tannins, mouth-watering acidity and refreshment throughout.
