About this product

Château Troplong-Mondot is a Grand Cru Classé wine of Saint-Émilion which inhabits one of the greatest sites in the appellation, high atop the côte and plateau. The 2009 dealt the estate with a ripe, robust fruit set which has seen it produce a wine of utmost concentration and robustness. Balanced with that overt blueberry and plum fruit is a nice spine of earthen characters including pencil shavings and cedar notes. The nuances of the wine will emerge over a decade or more of careful cellaring.
