Dry, Full Bodied style of ShirazMcLaren Vale, AustraliaThe 2010 Basket Pressed Shiraz is a medium to full bodied wine full of juicy flavour. The nose is jam packed with beetroot, blackberries, dried spices and tobacco leaf leading to dark berries and quince on the palate. The wine is held together with some fine acidity and grainy tannins softened slightly by ageing which lead to a long, oaky finish.
The 2010 Basket Pressed Shiraz is a medium to full bodied wine full of juicy flavour. Deep crimson; a perfumed bouquet in keeping with regional mulberry, fruitcake and bitter chocolate expectation; the palate is lively and reveals the freshness of the vintage; medium-boded with ample levels of juicy fruit, gravelly tannins and mocha oak on the finish.
