Château La Croix Figeac is one of those 2009 Saint-Émilions that has really benefited from the warmer, sunnier vintage by producing a wine that is overflowing with ripe blueberry aromas and flavours. Notes of plums with a nice cigar box undertone are also evident in a wine that will be at its best over the next 10- years.

Huge inky purple monster of a wine that needs much more time. It is reminiscent of those Best's Rutherglen monsters that could clear out your sinuses in one gulp. But this is a really good wine that impresses with loads of fruit, blueberry
