Château Pichon-Longueville Reserve de la ComtessePauillac 2009
About this product
Château Pichon-Longueville is separated it from its across the road neighbour by its charming Château which is currently being used as a residence by the owner, Madame de Lencquesaing. The wines strike a beautiful balance between the power of Pauillac and the richer, St-Julien. Not surprising as their vineyards fall over the two appellations! This is the first time Dan Murphy's have offered the recent addition to the Pichon Comtesse stable, the Reserve de la Comtesse, and what a hear to do so with 2009 proving to be one of the greatest vintages in modern history. The greatness of the vintage has easily pushed up second label wines just like this into stratospheric heights of quality and class.
