About this product

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou has always been recognisable with its impressive yellow label and was the first 'second growth' producer to break away from the crowd and start to attract higher prices and create the +Super Seconds+ group that it belongs in. With a name originating from the estates first owner, Ducru, and the name of the vineyard itself, Beaucaillou, +Ducru+ has long produced wines of utmost elegance and lovely balance. The 2003 in only beginning to emerge from its slumber and show the pretty, feminine fruit characteristics the Château is known for, but would still benefit from a few more cellaring years yet.
