About this product

Originally established in 1969, Barwang and some selected other low yielding trusted vineyards contributed power-packed small berries to this fantastic wine. There's brooding chocolate fruitcake, dense currants and blue fruits, all wrapped in graphite tannins and immediately looking like they belong in a far more expensive wine. A magical result for a very deserving long term label of distinction.

A very good aged cabernet sauvignon.

I had tasted this wine in its youth and enjoyed it. A few years ageing and it's fruit and oak have integrated and developed an appealing complexity. Certainly a bargain wine, with a few more years of cellar life left in it.

I had a case of 2009 and 2010 cab sauvs, both were disappointing because all the bits and pieces were woven into the perfect drop 5 years later, and I only had a few bottles remaining of each thinking they were mediocre. Glad Dan stocked so

A beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon from the Hilltops of New South Wales, Australia. Full of blackcurrant fruit flavour with a nice cedar oak dry finish. A great cellar release worth trying. Great with barbecues and around more steak meats.

Based on previous review, i also bought 2 bottles and being a shiraz lover myself this has converted me to cab savs. Heading back for buy more. Even better at members price. Well worth the full price though.
