Deep red/purple colour. Slightly stalky, herbal aromas with some tomato and blueberry over briary notes. A tad fumey, and some over and underripe hints. Intense and ripe to very ripe, with some alcohol after-heat and a touch of syrupiness in its texture. Loads of blue, black and red fruit flavours. Tannins are just slightly sappy.

Crimson-red; a fragrant bouquet of redcurrant, cassis and violets; the palate is elegantly constructed, with fine-grained tannins, very well-balanced and integrated cedary oak, fresh acidity and fine persistence on the finish.
