Deep red purple, great color. Smoky toasty barrel-influenced bouquet; good depth of flavour and quite tidy palate, with nice depth and flavour, the tannins smooth and the finish clean. Oak a tad more prominent than desired but it's stylish and tastes balanced on the palate. Nice drink.
