The famous V & A vineyard has surpassed itself in 2016. It's no wonder this parcel of fruit was separated from the "herd". There's a perfumed blue fruit pastille nose, followed by flavours of plush red fruit, red licorice, supple blue fruit superbly framed by silty, very fine tannins. A luxurious wine to share with special friends.

Medium deep crimson. Attractive blackberry, boysenberry aromas with dark chocolate herb notes. Generous in style with lovely blackberry plum flavours, plentiful fine bitter sweet tannins and savoury nuances. Finishes long and minerally fresh. Medium powered fruit driven wine but really well balanced reminiscent of the Coonawarra Clarets of the 1950s and 1960s.
